Meet G&A's Leadership Team

As President, Patrick Gunning leverages a track record of success in developing effective sales team strategies, his depth of expertise in automotive, as well as his impressive operational experience, ensure that G&A Marketing is perfectly aligned to help its customers meet the challenges of today's economy.

Prior to founding G&A Marketing in 1994, Pat worked for Toyota Motor Sales USA and J&L Marketing. He served Toyota Motor Sales (1985 - 1992) in a variety of management roles, including Vehicle & Incentive Auditor, District Sales Manager, and District Parts Manager. Over his two years with J&L Marketing (1992 - 1994), he led the company into profitability by increasing their event frequency from 7 per month to over 100 per month and by implementing their Event Coordination and Greeter Programs.

Pat's greatest accomplishment to date is creating a business atmosphere where it is possible to execute 89 events per month. "G&A Marketing's longevity speaks to the success of its people," states Gunning. "With 20 years in the industry and over 11,000 events under our belt, our people are second to none."

A graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration - Marketing/Finance, Pat is originally from and resides in Cincinnati, OH. He is married to his wife, Francine, and has two teenage sons. Pat enjoys golfing, snow skiing, and wake boarding in his free time.

As Sales Manager, Jeff is responsible for developing and coaching G&A Marketing's strong sales team. Jeff has been with G&A Marketing since 2004, serving in various positions in sales and sales management. Prior to joining G&A Marketing, Jeff was with Sinclair Broadcasting Group as a Sales Manager.

Jeff utilizes his 25 years of sales experience to motivate his staff to provide the customer with an optimal vendor-client experience. He is a true believer in continuing sales education and works with our staff to develop new skills and techniques. As a producing Sales Manager, Jeff is focused on the sales objectives of the organization and the improvement of communications skills.

Jeff is originally from the Cleveland area and currently resides in the Cincinnati area. He is married and has three children.

Todd combines his 19 years of experience with a knack for creating clean, crisp copy and campaigns that get noticed. He has produced and managed over 15,000 ad campaigns for clients including Nissan USA, Fischer Homes, Cincinnati Bell, and AutoNation. Todd has been the Advertising Director for G&A Marketing since 1997.

As the leader of G&A’s advertising department, Todd strives to create an environment where the design staff and media buyers can do what they do best – wow G&A’s clients with well executed ad campaigns.

Outside the office, Todd loves spending time with his daughter, Hannah.  He also enjoys golf, traveling, and watching the Reds, Bengals, and Buckeyes.  Todd attended the Honors Program at Miami University and is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.

  • Melissa Tomlin

With more than twelve years of service to G&A Marketing, Inc., Melissa has been an integral part of G&A's steady growth. As the Executive Administrator to the President she is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities which drive G&A's business goals and objectives.

As Human Resources Manager, Melissa's duties include a hiring process that ensures our clients are serviced by the industry's best and most reliable talent. Prior to G&A Marketing, Melissa gained extensive experience as an Executive Assistant for the Discovery Channel.

Melissa graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati in Paralegal studies. She is married to her husband, Bob, and has two cats. She enjoys spending time with her family and participating in races from 5ks to half marathons.

  • Renee Gaucher

Renee Pieper is G&A Marketing's Off-Site Events Director.  As leader of this department, she is responsible for the smooth execution of each of G&A Marketing's off-site events for our dealership clients.

From site searching to obtaining the necessary permits, insurance, suppliers and communication tools, Renee handles it all. Originally from Cincinnati, Renee and her husband Rick live in their home in Deer Park. When not hard at work for G&A Marketing's off-site customers, Renee enjoys yard work and playing with her dog Riley.

Upon completion of her studies at the University of Cincinnati, Renee joined G&A Marketing and has grown with G&A, experiencing many departments.

As our Advertising Compliance and Legal Manager, David is responsible for reviewing all our advertising materials for compliance with regulatory standards. David has been with G&A Marketing since 2010 and has had considerable influence in the content of our advertising. Prior to joining G&A Marketing, David was in private practice in the areas of advertising regulation, construction, and litigation.

David utilizes his previous experience with a dedication to protect our customers. Understanding that law suits are usually in search of deep pockets, he reviews every piece of advertising through the eyes of the regulators, with the mission of protecting G&A's dealers. He enjoys working with our sales professionals and advertising department in capturing their ideas in a compliant manner.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science and the Chase College of Law, he is our Wildcat fan! David is originally from Cincinnati, OH and resides in Northern Kentucky. He has two children, one who is starting college in the fall.

As Licensing Coordinator Amanda is responsible for supporting G&A Marketing's Managers in assuring all salesperson licensing is in place and compliant sales events.  Also, she is responsible for working with the dealership to follow their licensing policy as well as being compliant with State Laws and Regulations.

Amanda has been with G&A Marketing since 2014, serving in various capacities as Receptionist, Licensing Coordinator and Event / Promotional Director.  Amanda is responsible for managing shipping & receiving, working with G&A Team Managers on getting documentation prepared for each event and working with vendors to ensure our clients receive the best possible promotional gifts and delivered in a timely manner. 

Prior to coming to G & A, Amanda worked as a Heath Care Professional for many years.    Amanda enjoys spending her free time with her two sons Logan and Jaxson.
